This technology can enable the device to maintain ultra-low distortion in the entire audio frequency band, while displaying sound quality. The device works in AD mode. When the is 1.5%, it can drive up to two 315W/4R loads and two 150W (unshipped power)/8R loads, and has a unique 2 VRMS analog input interface, which supports seamless connection with high-performance DAC (such as TI's PCM5242).
In addition to excellent audio performance, TPA3255 also has two advantages: efficiency and ultra-low power level idle loss (less than 2.5W). This can be achieved through 85mR MOSFET and optimized gate driver scheme. Compared with the traditional discrete implementation scheme, this scheme can significantly reduce idle loss.
