Uses of Electric Kettle

1) Boil water The first and most obvious use is to heat water. We need hot water for a plethora of things such as your morning coffee or tea. All you need to do is fill it up to the brim and let it boil. An interesting feature offered by electric kettles is that it automatically shuts off when the water is hot. Along with sparing you from the job of manually switching the kettle off it also saves electricity!

2) Heat milk For those of you who have asked, can we boil milk in an electric kettle? The answer is yes. Whether you just need coffee or a hot chocolate or you are in a mood to have some warm milk, just pour some in the kettle and off you go! However, you need to remember that if you are going to use a kettle for boiling milk, you need to pay close attention to it. Overboiling milk may lead to spillage or give out a burning odor. But otherwise, that’s a great use for an electric kettle.

3) Boil Eggs What most people do not know is that you also boil eggs in an electric kettle, yes that’s true! Place the eggs inside the kettle and switch the button on. The only thing you need to remember is that an electric kettle shuts down on its own, so you need to keep switching it on each time that happens. Keep the process going for about 12-15 minutes and you are good to go! Also note that we do not recommend you to boil eggs in a kettle where the coil is present at the bottom, however you can always go ahead if the electric kettle has a uniform bottom.

4) Cook ready-to-eat meals If you have a couple of friends over or are in the mood to eat some spicy instant noodles or ramen just trust your electric kettle to get the job done! Just boil some water in the kettle and pour it into your instant noodle cup and wait for a couple of minutes. Now, get ready to give in to your midnight cravings and snack away!
