We were heavily inspired by the craftmanship of West African Masks, which embodies traditional culture and are used in ceremonial activities. A must come to life by the wearer of the masks to symbolize a mood. We played around with very symbolic colors which represent unity, love, excitement, fruitfulness, boldness, authority, and lastly growth and healing. All of which can be dramatic depending on the wearer of the Featuring shades made to play, you'll find full-spectrum color with all-day-every-day wearability, making it the best rainbow eyeshadow palette around. Necessity and inspiration spawned the creation of Juvia’s Place. Founder Chichi Eburu struggled to find makeup suited for her deep skin tone. What was available were muted colors, and products that didn’t enhance the true richness of her skin tone. She searched for years to find cosmetics that would enhance the dark hues of her skin tone without making her look or grayer, makeup that offered colors that weren’t muted against her rich skin color.
