If your electric appliance contains electric motor,such as drill,Grinders,Pump Vacuum cleaner,when it is started, its ts power will reach 3 to 7 times the rated power. For example,if your drill's rated power is 700w, when it is started, its power will be at least 1400w, at most 4900w, according to different manufacturers.
