What Size Of Mountain Bike To Choose?

Several sizes exist
84 m XL: between 1.85 m and 2.00 m To adapt the mountain bike to your size and body shape, here are our tips: 1/ Sitting on the saddle, you must touch the ground with the tips of your toes. 2/ To adjust the saddle, your knee will be slightly bent with your foot on the pedal in the low position. 3/ If you are hesitating between two sizes, choose the larger size.


 

Mixed Framework

With a very marked inclination of the upper tube, over a very wide size range (from XS: 1m45 to XL: 2m00),

the frame of the ST 100 mountain bike is MIXED.

The ST 100 mountain bike is available with the same frame in a WOMEN'S variant: adapted saddle, narrower handlebars, shorter stem, fork with a softer spring and closer brake levers.

If, as a WOMAN, you choose the MEN'S model, we recommend that you at least purchase the SPORT FEMME 500 saddle, adapted to the female body shape.

Lightweight, Comfortable And Playful Frame

It's not always easy to position yourself correctly on your mountain bike. Our designers have designed a brand new frame that is easy to step over.

This 100% aluminum CGF (Comfort Geometry Frame) frame is both comfortable and easy to handle. The inclination has been designed to keep your back straighter while the rear chainstays are shortened to ensure good agility of the bike when cornering.

Front Suspension

The 80 mm front suspension allows you to overcome your first obstacles with complete peace of mind on slightly uneven trails.

Its mechanical spring is a guarantee of reliability. Above all, the fork is easy to maintain.
For hardness adjustment? It's very easy thanks to a simple dial.

Rear Suspension: None

This mountain bike does not have any rear suspension.

It's a so-called "semi-rigid" mountain bike: ideal for beginners and getting started on your first mountain bike rides.
Compared to a "full suspension" mountain bike (with rear suspension), the advantage is simple: the mountain bike is light; you lose less energy on flat ground.

Handlebar, Stem, Handles

With its stem inclined 10° upwards, the ST 100 mountain bike's cockpit is raised, accessible and comfortable.

In details:
- Aluminum stem, 90 mm long, with an angle of 10° to provide maximum comfort
- 620 mm wide steel handlebars, for stability and control
- "Soft touch" material handles, for good grip, soft and pleasant contact.

Saddle

The ST 100's (welded) saddle attachment prevents any saddle movement.

And because after safety, your comfort is our priority, we offer you an exclusive ERGOFIT saddle, wider, with a hammock-shaped profile.

Easily adjust your saddle height with the steel FLEX stem length 350 mm or 400 mm (depending on sizes). Its diameter reduced to 27.2 mm offers your seat natural flexibility, 30% greater than a traditional solution.

V-Brake Pad Brakes

Brake efficiently thanks to the 2 V-Brake type pad brakes.
These brakes are made up of 2 calipers equipped with pads which exert more or less pressure on the rim to slow down or stop the rotation of the wheels.

Thanks to the specific design of the ST 100's aluminum brake levers, only two fingers are enough to brake.

27.5" Wheels & Tires For Dry Grounds

The ST 100's wheels are forgiving and robust, with 27.5-inch (26-inch on size XS) double-walled 28-spoke rims. Fearlessly overcome your first obstacles: small stones, roots, holes and bumps!
Because the first hikes are on dry terrain, this mountain bike is equipped with DRY 27.5 x 2.0 tires. Their performance is optimized thanks to a very rolling central part, while their side studs provide good grip when turning.

Flat Pedals

The ROCKRIDER ST 100 MTB comes with flat hard resin MTB pedals for greater lightness and safety.
If your foot slips off the pedal, you will be less likely to injure yourself.

Transport & Storage

To easily remove/mount the front wheel, we have added a quick release system.
At the rear, a nut secures the bike to limit the risk of theft. A spanner is required to remove the rear wheel.
Our advice: a bike rack is a simple way to transport your mountain bike easily, without getting your car dirty.
