Why cause this PROBLEM? The Acce Start Authorization lock module is a part of vehicle's steering column. Module fai is a common problem in VW Volkswagen Paat B6 2006-2015 3C CC 2009-2017 model vehicles. The problem is typically identified by no startand no response from key in the ignition, or proximity acce (Start on). The Start / Stop Authorization Module (along with the Electronic Ignition Switch) is responsible for key/ recognition, unlocking/locking of steering wheel and powering up all modules in the vehicle. If there is an iue with any of the lock module components (actuator motor, sensing micro switches, relay) or the integrated Immobilizer system Microproceor/, the module will not provide power to Terminal 15 (ignition on). End result, no ignition and no engine start. The module will typically store "00288 - Steering Column Lock Actuator Defective" fault. THE SOLUTION You don't need cost a couple of thousand dollarsfor this problem. You just need replace four parts. VW need two switch(1 of them with spring plate)and two ACP131 Relay. ]
