AD-FMCOMMS3-EBZ is a high speed analog module designed to demonstrate the AD9361 - a high performance, highly integrated RF transceiver designed for RF applications such as 3G and 4G base stations and test equipment applications, software defined radios.
The programmability and wideband capabilities of this device perfect for a of transceiver applications. The device combines an RF front-end with a flexible mixed-signal baseband section, an integrated frequency synthesizer, and a configurable digital interface to a processor or FPGA to simplify design-in.
The AD9361 chip operates in a frequency range of 70 MHz to 6 GHz, covering most licensed and frequency bands. By programming the AD9361 itself to change the sampling rate, digital filter and decimation parameters, the chip supports a channel bandwidth range of less than 200 kHz to 56 MHz.
