(100% Never Used Or Installed) How to Use: Note: This tool is not to be used to break rivet style chain links. Step 1: Disaembly Remove the master link clusing suitable tool and insert the chain into the "Pre Off" side of the tool as shown in Fig.1. Using a 6mm hex wrench pre the link apart by turning both screws approximately 1/2 turn at a time. Alternate from one screw to the other and take care to do this as evenly as poible, this will keep the master link from blinding. If extra leverage is needed you can insert a 10mm hex wrench into the hex feature in the body as shown in Fig.2. Step 2: Aembly Clean all of the parts and the master link pins with chain or high quality grease and aemble the master link into the chain. If you are using an O-ring chain make sure to clean and the o-rings as well. Pre the master link plate onto the master link with your fingers as shown in Fig.3, and insert the chain into the "Pre On" side of the tool as shown in Fig.4. Step 3: Aembly Continued Using a 6mm hex wrench seat the master link plate onto the master link by turning the screws 1/2 turn at a time taking care to keep the plate as even as poible as shown in Fig.5. The plate should only be preed on just enough to get the clon as shown in Fig.6. Warning: Do not overtighten! Overtightening the master link plate can damage the o-rings and cause the chain to bind and cause chain fai. Chain fai can result in great bodily injury or death. Step 4: Aembly Replace master link clip, make sure it is in the correct orientation. The closed end of the clshould be facing the direction the chain rotates when moving forward as shown in Fig.7. Warning: This tool should only be used by someone who is trained in servicing motorcycle chains and sprockets. Fai to use this tool correctly could result in great bodily injury or death.
