Many times, mothers are not able to suck the milk or leak milk. This is mainly because the mothers use the breast pump improperly. How can the breast pump be used correctly? Momnet teaches you how to use the breast pump correctly.
1. Wash your hands and breasts before using the breast pump, and then squeeze a little milk from the left and right breasts to ensure that the breast is not blocked;
2, clean the breast pump and disinfect after installation, the installation is ready.
3. Choose a place that you feel comfortable, relax your body, then lean forward slightly (padding behind the pillow), and finally put a glass of water next to it.
4. Press the funnel and massage pad of the breast pump tightly on the breast, do not let the air enter, so as not to lose the suction;
5. Gently press the handle on the breast. The suction of the breast pump does not reach the maximum level, so that your milk can flow smoothly. It is not necessary to press the handle completely to form a vacuum, as long as you feel comfortable;
6. At the beginning of sucking milk, you can quickly press the handle 5-6 times. Then, hold the handle and let it stay for 2-3 seconds. Finally, let go of the handle and let it return automatically. The milk will flow out when the handle is returned.
7. After several times of squeezing, there is usually milk flowing out. If you don't have milk flowing out, don't worry, relax and try again. If the weak sucking process causes pain, stop immediately and consult a doctor. Note: If you can't suck the milk, don't continue to squeeze the breast with the breast pump for more than 5 minutes. Try again later.
8. Some mothers may prefer to use a breast pump without a massage pad, but tests have shown that using a massage pad will speed up the flow of milk, making breast pumping easier;
9. Under normal circumstances, it takes 10 minutes to extrude 60-125 ml of milk. However, each person's situation is different and there are always differences. If you squeeze more than 125 ml of milk at a time, use a larger bottle.
