What is this- PoE distributor splits the PoE+ signal (802.3at) into Gigabit Ethernet and 5V/4A DC power supply, which can be adapted to USB-C or 5521 barrel ports. What is PoE- Provide power and data through a single Ethernet cable, reducing wall plugs and mey cables. Extend the power cord to a place where there is no AC outlet nearby, 300 feet (about 91.4 meters) away from the power source. Why choose a PoE splitter- An economical way to add plug-and-play PoE support to 5V power-consuming devices, such as Jetson Nano with a barrel port or Raspberry Pi 4 with a USB-C port. What else is needed- You need a PoE+ switch or injector that complies with IEEE 802.3at as a PSE (power supply device) and an Ethernet cable with PoE+ signal to power the distributor.
