PMS5003 is a digital general particle concentration sensor based on the principle of laser-scattering, which can continuously collect and calculate the number of suspended particles with different particle sizes in the air per unit volume, that is, the particle concentration distribution, and then convert it into mass concentration, and use the general digital Interface form output.
The sensor can be embedded in various instrumentation or environmental improvement equipment related to the concentration of suspended particulate matter in the air to provide timely and accurate concentration data.
Output result:The main output is the amount and number of particles of each concentration in a unit volume, of which the unit volume of the number of particles is 0.1 liters, and the mass concentration unit is: micrograms/cubic meter.
The output is divided into two states: active output and passive output. After the sensor is powered on, the default state is active output, that the sensor actively sends serial data to the host, and the time interval is 200~800ms.higher, the shorter the time interval.
Active output is further divided into two modes: smooth mode and fast mode. in the air when the particle concentration change is small, the sensor output is in a stable mode, that is, the same set of values is output every three times.
The actual data update cycle is about 2s. When the concentration of particulate matter in the air changes greatly, the sensor output automatically switches to fast mode, each output is a new value, and the actual data update period is 200~800ms.
