The Probe Slot Holds the Probe and the Extension Cable Can be Stretched for Easy Use and Storage. Used for Various Environmental Measurements, Suitable for Water Quality Testing, Such as Swimming Pool , Spas.
Essential tool for quick and accurate readings of ph & chlorine as chlorine is the most commonly used disinfectant for water by killing bacteria, algae and microorganisms.
Tips :
【CL2 Measurement Range : 0.5-6.0】Recommended Chlorine Level for Swimming Pools and Spas is (1.2~1.7ppm).
【PH Measurement Range : 5.5-9.0】 Recommended PH for Swimming Pools and Spas is (7.2~7.8)
Note : The battery needs to be installed when measuring CL2, and the battery needs to be removed when measuring PH, which is more accurate
To extend the life of your Pool Checker PC-102 and ensure accurate results, be sure to:
Keep the switch in the OFF position (all the way toward “PH”) when not in use.
Store in a cool, dry place away from sunlight.
DO NOT immerse the probe in any liquid other than pool or spa water.
Check the battery routinely for freshness—unit requires one “AA” 1.5 volt alkaline battery.(Batteries not included, please buy locally, logistics cannot be shipped)
Save time and money with this electro-tester
Recommended chlorine level for pools and spa is 1.2 to 1.7ppm
Recommended pH level for pools and spa is 7.2 to 7.8
How to Test for Chlorine Levels :
A chlorine level of 1.2 to 1.7 ppm is recommended for swimming pools and spas.
A) Place the pointer on the "adjustment point
B) Holding the ET in one hand and the probe in the other, insert the probe into the water up to the black band. Wait until the needle is stationary to get a better chlorine reading.
C) Leave the probe in the water and test the pH as directed.
Testing PH :
A pH of 7.2 to 7.8 is recommended for swimming pools and spas.
A . With the probe still in the water, turn the wheel all the way to "pH" until it clicks (the battery must be switched off when reading pH).
B .Wait until the pointer rests on the Ph value.
C .Gently dry the probe and insert it into the holder on the side of the ET for storage.
How to Find Your Eternal Adjustment Point :
A. Insert a 1.5 volt AA battery into the compartment inside the handle (positive terminal facing up).
B. Hold the ET in one hand and the probe in the other.
C. Insert the washed metal probe into the water up to the black band.
D. Stir the water slightly with the probe.
E. While the probe is still in the water, turn the wheel on the face of the tester all the way to the left in the direction of "CL". Slowly turn the wheel back to the right until the needle matches the chlorine level you recorded with the conventional liquid tester (Example 1.5).
F. Remove the probe from the water, but without touching the rotating wheel. The indicator will move all the way to the right and stop at a letter between A and E. This letter is your adjustment point.
Note :Any time you test for chlorine content with an electrometer, you must adjust the electrometer to the "adjustment point" before testing.
Scope of Application :
An ideal tool for keeping your pool or spa within the safe Chlorine and PH ranges, no more chemicals or no more guess work.
An electro-tester for testing pH and chlorine (Cl2) levels in water for routine monitoring of pH and chlorine levels of swimming pools, spas and different water sources.
