Two Power Modes & Brightne-Adjustable Backlight

It can be powered by a DC adapter (included) or 2*AA battery (not included). The screen will turn off automatically in about 10-15 seconds to save power when using battery power. View the Moon Phase which is change accoring to the calender. Please make sure setting the correct time zone and date. The moon doesn't light up during New moon.

FAQ

Here are some ts about the backlight 1) When powered by batteries,to save power,backlight only lights up 15s(Power saving mode).Touch the "Snooze" on to wake up the backlight. 2) When plugged in the power cord,the backlight brightne on is the 6th on, right side. Pre it to turn on the backlight full brightne. Pre it again to begin dimming the light. Keep preing. When the display gets to full dark, you can turn it back on for 15 seconds using the touch on on the top. To get back to continued full brightne,pre the 6th on again. Here are the steps to choose Time Zone and set the Time 1. choose time zone: 1) Pre and hold the 1st on beside device to enter 24/12 hrs setting, pre "UP" and "DOWN" ons to choose, pre the 1st on again to confirm setting and enter time zone setting. 2) Pre “DOWN” on to set the time zone according to your location, and the turn on DST. (when Daylight saving time) 2. Set the time 1）Manual: After turn ON DST, you can continue to set the correct time and date. 2）Auto: After turn ON DST, leave it alone until it displays normal time, pre and hold“UP” on for 5 seconds to manually begin to search WWVB signal. At this time, the backlight will turn dark, this proce takes about 7 minutes and the backlight will light up again after the search. Then the time and date will be automatically set.
