【5 Working Modes Design】: This product is designed with 5 working modes, you can select the mode between 1/2" stud scan mode, 1" stud scan mode, 1 1/2" stud scan mode, metal mode and AC mode according to the object you want to detect. 

【3 Stud Scan Modes】: 1/2" stud scan mode detects wood or metal studs up to 13mm deep. 1" stud scan mode detects wood or metal studs up to 25mm deep. 1 1/2" stud scan mode detects wood or metal studs up to 38mm deep.

【Metal Scan Mode】: Mainly used to detect steel bars, metal keels, metal pipes, etc. in walls. The detection of magnetic metal can be as deep as 3.2 in. (80mm)(diameter15mm galvanized steel tube). It can detect non-magnetic metals up tc 2.4 in. (60mm) (diameter 13mm copper tube).

【AC Scan Mode】: Mainly used to detect live (AC) wires in the wall. Detect unshielded AC live wire up to 2 in. (51mm) deep. And the AC scan mode has interactive calibration. 

【Easy to Use】: Move the tester on the desired surface to detect for STUDS, metal, rebar, pipe, AC wire, etc., you can scan the object from left to right.

【Wide Applications】: Multi-scene applications, whether industrial and domestic use, can easily cope with. Suitable for home decoration and renovation, wall decoration installation, appliance installation and maintenance, etc.

This stud finder is for use on dry interior walls only.

Sensing depth and accuracy can vary due to moisture, content of materials, wall texture, and paint.

This stud finder is not designed to scan materials such as: ceramic floor tile, carpeting and padding, lath and plaster walls, foil covered insulation board, glass or any other dense material.
