DESCRIPTION

MY001-B(Blue case  and CH340) to IR converter /optical probe is used for local serial communication using infrared communication between static smart electricity meters (meters or other equipment) with optical interface on one side and a PC or HHU (Hand-Held Units) with USB2.0 interface on the other side. on the other. The converter/optical probe s fulfill all technical requirements on data transmiion in accordance with the standard IEC62056-21 (in the past IEC1107) and the set of users'requirements DLMS/COSEM. The converter/optical probe has a infrared transmit and a infrared receive diode. The optical probe is fitted with a permanent , which ensures that the probe remains attached on the meter during data collection. Data is transferred via an infrared light using serial two-way communication.
