1.Sowing time

Coffee seeds should be planted at a suitable time, preferably between Qingming Festival and rain in spring each year. Germination can increase the survival rate.



2.Treat the seeds

When planting, choose seeds that are full and uniform, and if they are new seeds. The germination rate of aged seeds will be very low. After the seeds are selected, they must be germinated. The seeds are exposed to the sun for two hours, and then the seeds are soaked in clean water for about 12 hours. After the soaking treatment, the shell of the seeds will soften, which can promote faster germination.



3.Processing plot

Choose suitable plots when planting coffee. The soil is best to be soft, with good air permeability and a certain degree of fertility, and sufficient light must be ensured. It is recommended to turn the plot deeply and break the larger soil blocks to avoid crushing the seedlings. After treatment, apply base fertilizer and irrigate with water once, so that the coffee seeds will germinate better in the later period after treatment.



4.Sowing into the soil

The sowing method of coffee seeds is very simple, just spread the seeds after treating the plot. Pay attention to shallow sowing, and do not cover too much soil, which will affect the germination rate. Water thoroughly after sowing and cover with straw to keep the soil moist.
