REVISED PRODUCT - ENLARGED "IN" AND "OUT" PORTS TO -8Are you tired of gueing the level of your G56 nsmiion?You know how much is in the nsmiion when you rep it, but how can you chethe level?This custom cover is designed to correct the level on a G56 6 speed standard nsmiion.Compatible with Dodge Ram pickups.Fill to the bottom of the plug on the cover (top plug). This represents the correct level for this nsmiion.Factory plug represents 6.5 qts, but you need 8 qts of to cover the internal bearings.This item uses M10 x 1.5 x 25 Socket Head Cap Screws (not 3/8)AND....There are 3 ports on the bottom of the cover for adding a cooler or filter system.The "in" and "out" ports are for the recirating system, recently changed to larger -8 size.The center port (unlabeled) is for a temperature r or the ic plug.Chebasoon for more manual nsmiion cooling system components.About the coverMade from solid 6061-T6 aluminum barstock.Bolt pattern complies with SAE J704 of Dec '92 (see pics) and uses M10 bolts.All oring ports are per SAE-J1926 (see pics).It is .850" thiand milled on every side to ensure perfect fit and function.Increases the level PLUS 5 ounces due to the rece in the cover.Designed to raise the level in the gearbox to ensure proper lubrication.When checking the level, set level at bottom of the fill plug hole.The following it are included in the kit:1ea Cover Plate1ea Socket head -8 ic plug (steel)2ea Socket head -8 non-ic plug (steel)1ea Socket Head 1/8 NPT ic plug6ea M10 zinc plated alloy socket head cap screws6ea thin SS washers (for under the head of the bolts)
