This dual xlr female to 3.5mm cable is designed to combine two separated signal into one stereo output. Like you can connect two microphones to a video camera, a portable recorder, a FM transmitter, a computer or other devices with 1/8" mini jack input. It is mainly used for recording or livestream broadcast. You can also output stereo signal from mixer to these devices with mini stereo phone input. What about combine guitar and mic input through mixer。In some applications, customers may want to distinguish left and right channel end. For this mini TRS Y cable, the XLR connector with blue ring is the left channel end, which is also connecting to the T of the 3.5mm TRS connector. The XLR connector with red ring is connecting to the RING of the 3.5mm TRS connector, this connector is used as right channel end. But in general application, you can mix the two channel ends.
