Question:Are these plates compostable?

Answer:They are wood, so yes eventually.

Question:Can they hold liquids? We'd like to use them for cereal with milk.

Answer:Wouldn't recommend them for liquids as the material is fairly thin.

Question:Would these be good for mac & cheese?

Answer:If the cheese sauce is thick enough and not runny, it might be okay but it's not recommendable.

Question:Would these bowls float on a pond with a votive candle in it? Looking for something for a memorial service.

Answer:A large gla candle will likely be too heavy for it. I think that it could hold up a tea light, like a very small candle.

Question:will these leak if there is some liquid inside?

Answer:I would say probably.

Question:Can you put water in these? I need them for facial s. Thank you

Answer:I don’t think they would hold water too well.

Question:Wondering about using for bunny enrichment. Has the pine been kiln-dried? Have the plates been treated with wax or chemicals to inhibit insects/mold

Answer:These have a food grade adhesive in them to keep them together. The wood is untreated and has no finish.

Question:Can you microwave these for 30 seconds or le?

Answer:I would be careful with microwaving for that long. It might be fine for le than 15 seconds, but I would still be watching it. They are a wood material and also do contain a food grade adhesive holding it together, which may react negatively to that long of a seion. We don't guarantee what it would or won't do to the adhesive, if it would still hold together or not.

Used these for our wedding for the appetizers for our guests. Very sturdy and doesn't fall apart. Made of paper-ish material and therefore can probably biodegrade. Oil won't seep through too quickly if you have fried foods. No weird odors or stains on your food.
