Application:

Small mechanical temperature controllers are used to control electrical heaters or filter cooling fans in electrical cabinets, which are accidents caused by temperature factors.

Installation Recommendations:

Hysteresis (switching difference) temperature control must be taken into account: 7K ± 4K (K = Kein)

In order to determine the actual setpoint of a normally closed contact and change the contact (when using a normally closed contact), the maximum nominal hysteresis must be included in the required minimum operating temperature.

Example for Red KTO011 for heating:

Required minimum case temperature: 5 °C (41 °F)

Temperature control hysteresis: +11K (=7K±4K)

Handle Adjustment Point Set: 16°C (61°F)
