For 02+ Subaru Impreza WRX and WRX STI with 2.0L or 2.5L DOHC turbo engine (EJ205, EJ207, EJ255, EJ257). For 04-11 Subaru Forester XT with DOHC Turbo 05-10 Subaru Legacy GT with DOHC Turbo. For 05-10 Subaru Outback XT w/ DOHC turbo engine. For 05-06 Saab 9-2X AERO w/ DOHC turbo engine. For 04-06 Subaru Baja with DOHC turbo engine.
Used to check and lock the camshafts of automotive fuel injected engines. Great for timing belts or other engine services.
Locking the LH side cam sprocket in rotation when removing the timing belt makes timing belt repla cement quicker and easier, especially if done by one person. Sturdy neodymium magnets ensure that the tool stays in pla ce even in a crash; the curved plate makes it easy to see the sprocket timing marks.
This cam gear lock tool is made of high quality steel which is rust and corrosion resistant.
