OPERATING INSTRUCTIONSDC
VOLTAGEMEASUREMENT
1 . Connect the red test lead to the "V Q MA" andthe blalead to" COM" .
2. Set rotary switch at desired DCV position . If thevoltage to be measured is not known beforehand , senge switch at the highest range position and thenreduce ti until satisfactory resolution is obtained.
3 . Connect test leads across the source or load gmeasured.
4.Read voltage value on the LCD display awith thepolarity of the red lead connection.
CURRENT MEASUREMENT
1 . Connect the red test lead to the "MA" andthe blatest lead to "COM" Formeasurements between 200MA and 20A . remove redlead to "20A" .
2 . Set the rotary switch at desired DCA position
3 . Open the circuit in which the current is to be measured and connect test leads in series with the circuit.
4 . Read current value on LCD display awith thepolarity of red lead connection.
AC VOLTAGE MEASUREMENT
1.Connect the red test lead to "V . n" and theblatestlead to the COM ".
2 . Set the rotary switch at desired ACV position.
3 . Connect test leads across the source or load gmeasured.
4 . Read voltage value on the LCD diaplay.
RESISTANCE MEASUREMENT

NOTE:
To avoid electrical sho. remove test leads from measurementcrcuits before testing a nsistor.
AUDIBLE CONTINUITY TEST
1 . Connect red test lead to "VO" blackest lead" COM".
2 . Set range swith to " . " Position.

MEASURING TEMPERATURE
1 . Set the rotary switch at TEMP Position and theLCD display will show the current environmenttemperature.

MEASURING CAPACITANCE
1 . Set the rotary switch at desired F position.

3 . When measuring s with shorter leads , a testingadapter is provided with the meter into the capacitancetesting socket on the front panel to continue measurements.
