Two factors will show if your vehicle is OBD II compliant:
1.Know your vehicle brand,HUD work for cars with OBDII agreement or EU OBD agreement. Open the engine hood and find the sticker below it, if it has words like OBDII CERTIFIED, then it can be installed.
2. Find out the 16 pin diagnostic link of the vehicle and connect it well with OBDII connecting line.HUD OBDII is not compatible for car models as the list as below
For European cars:
It is not suitable for the cars produced before 2004
For American cars:
It is not suitable for the cars produced by dodge, jeep, ford, GM, Chrysler and all cars before 2004.
For France cars
It is not suitable for the cars produced by DS, Peugeot, Citroen, Renault and so on.
For Japanese cars:
It is not suitable for the cars produced by Suzuki, Mazda, Toyota, Honda, and all cars before 2008.
For Korean cars
It is not suitable for the cars 2013 Hyundai Sonata, 2017 Kia Soul PS.
For Chinese cars
It is not compatible for the manufacture of the cars before 2008.
For India cars:
It is not compatible for Tata which is produced at 2007-2016 years.
In addition : pickup, it is not compatible for the modified car brushed car computer, some oil-electronic cars and some diesel cars
