How to train for Ford TPMS tire preure monitor rs? 1. Turn the ignition switch to the OFF position, then pre and release the brake pedal. 2. Cycle the ignition switch from the OFF position to the run position for 3 times, ending in the run position. 3. Pre and release the brake pedal. 4. Turn the ignition switch to the OFF position.5. Turn the ignition switch from the off position to the race position 3 times, ending in the race position. The horn will sound once and the TPMS indicator will flash if the training mode has been entered succefully. If equped, the meage center will display the TRAIN LF tire.6. Place the tire preure monitor activation tool on the left front sidewall (driver's side) of the tire at the vae stem. Pre and release the test on repeatedly on the TPMS tool until the horn beeps. (It may take up to 6 seconds for the tool to activate the r, leave the tool on its side for the entire 6 seconds). The beep indicates that the body control module has recognized the TPMS r.7. Within 2 minutes of the sound of the horn confirming the programming of the LF tire, Place the TPMS tool on the right sidewall (paenger side) of the front tire at the vae stem and pre the test on to activate the r.8. Repeat step 7 for the right rear followed by the left rear tire in that order. The procedure is completed after forming the last tire.
