The self-excited multivibrator with NE555 as the core is used to charge capacitor C1 through R2, R3 and R4. When C1 starts to charge, pin 2 of NE555 is still at a low level, so pin 3 of the output terminal is at a high level. When the power supply is charged to C1 through R2, R3 and R4 to 2/3 of the power supply voltage, the level of pin 3 of the output terminal changes from high to low, the internal discharge tube of NE555 is connected, and capacitor C1 is discharged through pin 7 of R4, R3 and NE555, When the voltage at both ends of C1 is lower than 1/3 of the power supply voltage, the level of pin 3 of NE555 changes from low level to high level again. C1 is recharged again, so that the cycle forms oscillation. The charging time is 0.695 (R2 R3 R4) C1, and the discharging time is 0.695 (R4 R3) C1. The output frequency of the oscillator can be controlled adjusting R4. The clock oscillation signal of NE555 is constantly added to pin 14 of the CD4017, and 10 LEDs are connected to the 10 output terminals of the CD4017. When the 10 output terminals of the CD4017 generate high levels in turn under the action of the clock signal, D1 - D10 are lit in turn, thus forming the effect of running water lamp. Adjust R4 to adjust the flow speed of LED lights.
