If you have repd the existing OEM tailgate support model 3, just use the Tesla app. The tailgate will then open automatically. Convenient removal and insertion of the it in the trunk.

Air spring for more lifting power, a special spring provides vertical force to initiate upper-body movement, and a small stainle steel washer to ensure smooth, rattle-free motion.
