These shock absorbers are suitable for 3D printers and other machines using NEMA 17 stepper motors

Nema17 step damper is used to reduce noise and resonance in CNC and 3d printers, eliminate vibration and effectively improve 3D print quality

Use one damper per stepper or motor

When used with an X and Y-axis stepper with a nema 17 damper, the 3D printer reduces noise by 5-10dB.

Can be used on Cartesian and incremental additive manufacturing machines (such as CR-10) to pair them with good filaments for best results in 3D printers and eliminate vibration and noise
