1. Product introduction

MH-M18/M28/M38 is a low-power Bluetooth design solution that supports the latest Bluetooth 4.2 transmiion, two-channel stereo lole playback, and the module supports Bluetooth-compatible wirele transmiion when connected to Bluetooth, which is very convenient. In an open environment, the Bluetooth-compatible connection distance can reach up to 20 meters.

It is widely used in various Bluetooth-compatible audio receivers and various audio DIY modification.

2. Function/Pin Definition

1. Bluetooth-compatible V4.2 version, support Bluetooth automatic connection technology, support WAV/WMA/FLAC/APE/MP3 lole decoding, stereo dual-channel output.

2. After the module is powered on, the mobile phone searches for the Bluetooth name MH-M18/MH-M28/MH-M38, and connects to the Bluetooth to play music.

3. Module blue indicator light:

When Bluetooth-compatible is not connected, the indicator light flashes quickly;

When Bluetooth-compatible is connected, the indicator light is always on;

The following is an introduction to each version:

MH-M18:

size: 23*16*2.5mm (length, width and height)

Pin spacing: 2.54mm (can be directly mounted or soldered)

Specifications:

MH-M18:

The module interface adopts a half-hole proce, and customers can directly mount or weld on the board.

MUTE mute control terminal: used to control the power amplifier board, MUTE outputs high level 3.3V when mute, and low level when playing.

KEY on control: This function can be realized only by connecting resistors and ons.

Volume retention function: the default output is 100% volume. Use the ons to control the volume to increase or decrease. If the control volume is le than 15%, the volume output will be 15% after power-on; if the control volume is greater than 15%, the volume will remain unchanged after power-on.

MH-M28:

1. Power supply: You can directly use the MICRO USB Android cable 5V for power supply, or you can also connect to a 5V power supply or a 3.7V lithium battery. Note that the 5V and 3.7V power supply interfaces are different. The 5V voltage is connected to 5V and GND, and the 3.7V lithium battery is connected to VBAT and GND.

2. Audio output: The earphone can be directly connected to the 3.5mm audio interface, or can be wired for the audio input of the power amplifier board (the interface L/R/AGND can be directly wired).

MH-M38

1. Power supply: You can directly use the MICRO USB Android cable 5V for power supply, or you can also connect to a 5V power supply or a 3.7V lithium battery. Note that the power supply interface of 5V and 3.7V is different, 5V is connected to 5V and GND, and 3.7V lithium battery is connected to VBAT and GND.

The maximum working current is 5V2A. It is recommended to use a 5V2A regulated power supply for better sound quality.

2. Support USB sound card, free drive (plug and play). Connect the module to the computer with a USB data cable, and the computer can play music and output through the module's amplifier

3. Audio output: output left and right channel stereo audio signals, which can be connected to two 2-8 and 3-5W speakers respectively, and 4 5W speakers are recommended for storage.

4. This product has built-in dual 5W power amplifier circuit, and you must not use it with another power amplifier! The outputs of the two power amplifiers cannot be connected in parallel or the negative poles connected together, otherwise the power amplifier ch will be damaged.

Precautions:

Signal interference: Bluetooth s are extremely susceptible to interference from high-frequency or strong electromagnetic signals, so please place them as far away as poible from wirele devices. And the board can not be close to metal objects, keep a certain distance.

If there is current noise on the power amplifier board, the cause is caused by ground wire interference. It is recommended that the output end of the Bluetooth module should not be plugged in. We need to solder the wire, especially the ground wire, and the wire should not be too long. The shorter the better. Thicker. The audio ground must be connected to the ground of the audio input terminal of the power amplifier. This ground point can be welded in different positions to achieve the lowest current sound. It is recommended that the Bluetooth and the power amplifier board be powered separately, and the Bluetooth ground and the power amplifier ground are isolated.

Since this product is a bare board design, try not to touch the components on the board with your hands, which will easily cause static electricity to kill the ch and cause burnout.

Warning: The charging interface of this product is a current-limiting charging mode, without charging management! For the safety of your life and property, please be sure to use a lithium battery with a protective plate produced by a regular manufacturer. If the lo is caused by improper use, the company will not bear any responsibility!

Another: The following two points need to be paid attention to when using MH-M18:

Power supply: 5V power supply by default. If you need to use a 3.7V lithium battery to supply power, you need to replace the diode with a 0 resistor of 0603, or short-circuit both ends of the pad directly.

The Bluetooth-compatible audio module has very high power requirements that will affect the audio quality. It is recommended to add an LC filter circuit, especially a switching power supply (such as a mobile phone charger, etc.).

MUTE mute port: This port outputs high level 3.3V when mute, and low level 0V when playing. If the mute high level of the power amplifier board is effective, it can be directly connected. If the mute of the power amplifier board is low-level control, a reverse circuit needs to be added.
