The CYCLONE series receiver is based on the open-source architecture and program of ExpreLRSI. ESP8285MCU is used. You can upgrade the firmware through WIFI, which is very friendly. Configuration & Bind:
1. Please check the software version number of the ELRS module or the built-in ELRS module first. At present, there are only general version numbers of 1. x.x or 2. x.x. Please confirm that the module and receiver are the same general version. (For example, the module with version 2.0.1 can be used normally with the receiver with version 2.3.0, so it is not neceary to upgrade the module firmware.) However, for better compatibility, it is recommended that the module and receiver be upgraded to the same version.
2. The LED will start to double flash after the receiver is powered on and off for three times, which means the receiver enters the frequency matching mode. Enter Module Binding operation.
3. After the setting is succeful, the LED on the receiver will become normally on, and the telemetry signal can also be received.
4. Meaning of receiver LED status:
The LED is always on, indicating succeful frequency matching or normal connection and communication
The double flashing LED indicates that the frequency is being aligned.
The slow flashing LED indicates that the transmitter signal cannot be received.
The rapid flashing LED indicates that the wifi communication mode can be updated through the computer or mobile phone.
