How to use? (Instructions)
Sensor function - use increase / decrease method
In the standstill mode, each sensor performs a measurement sample every 30 seconds. If the tire is increased or decreased by more than 8.3 kPa (1.2 lbf / s) compared to the last measured value, a re-measurement is made immediately to confirm the barometric change. If the barometric does change, the sensor is transmitted in read-in mode. In the tire read mode, when the body control module receives a read mode transmission signal, the sensor identification is assigned to the vehicle and its read order corresponding to the location, re-read mode cancellation
The preferred diagnostic device re-reads the enabling method
1. Depress the parking brake (manual transmission ).
2. Turn on the ignition switch to the ON position and use the diagnostic tool to start the "Tire Sensors Learn" mode. If you hear the loudspeaker, you will see that the re-read mode is enabled. The left front turn signal will also light up.
3. From the left front tire, keep the of the tire monitoring tool facing up against the tire sidewall near the rim of the valve core. Press and release the start button and wait for the speaker to emit a chirp. Once the speaker is chirping, the sensor information is read and the turn signal light to be read into the position will light.
4. After the speaker is ringing and the right front turn signal light is on, the remaining three sensors repeat the steps in the following order:
4.1 right front
4.2 right rear
4.3 left after the left
5. When the left rear sensor has been read and the speaker is also issued twice, the read process is completed and the body control module also exits the re-read mode.
6. Set the ignition switch to the OFF position and adjust all tire to the recommended value. See "Vehicle Certificates, Tire Labels, Security and Service Parts Identification Numbers".
The alternate driver information center re-reads the enabling method
1. Depress the parking brake (manual transmission ).
2. Set the ignition switch to the ON position and use the Driver Information Center (DIC) to display the control start re-read mode. The loudspeaker sounds twice to indicate that the re-read mode is enabled and will turn on the left front turn signal.
3. From the left front wheel, start the tire sensor in one of the following ways:
Keep the of the tire monitoring tool up against the tire sidewall near the rim of the valve core. Press and release the start button and wait for the speaker to emit a chirp. Once the speaker is chirping, the sensor information is read and the turn signal light to be read into the position will light.
(WARNING: Tire inflated footage may cause personal injury or damage to tires and wheels. Do not exceed the maximum inflation marked on the sidewall of the tire when the tire is increased.
Increase / decrease the tire for 8-10 seconds, and wait for the speaker to emit a chirp. 8-10 seconds after the tire to increase / decrease the time, the speaker issued a chirp may be insufficient or for 30 seconds.
