Weight training or stretching, cross training or physical preparation - multiply your options with this 5 kg weight training band.
To safely use your band, start by always checking that it is in good condition before starting your sets.
If you notice a crack or white area, do not use it, since it could break during your workout.
Each colour corresponds to a level of resistance:
Blue:5 kg / Green: 15 kg / Yellow: 25 kg / Orange: 35 kg / Red: 45 kg / Black: 60 kg
Are you just starting weight training? Choose a band with light resistance, such as 5 kg, and then gradually increase.
On the other hand, are you trying to lighten your load? The greater the resistance, the more the band will help you for pull-ups or body weight exercises.
With a 5 kg band, you're not looking for strength, but rather for completing sets with lots of reps.
It's ideal for rehabilitation (exercises recommended by a physical therapist) or warm-ups.
Examples of stretches with a band:
- seated or standing toe touch: pass the elastic under your feet and bring your torso towards your shins.
- right angle: lying on your back, bring the elastic over your feet and try to extend your legs.
