The recommended bed temperature range is around 90-100°C.?[4] Print speed: ABS can be printed at relatively high speeds, with a recommended range of 50-80 mm/s. Printing too fast can cause issues like layer shifting or poor adhesion.[5] Retraction: ABS is prone to stringing, so it's important to use retraction settings to prevent this. The recommended retraction distance is around 1-2mm, and the speed should be around 30-40 mm/s.[6] Layer height: ABS can be printed at a variety of layer heights, but a good range to start with is 0.1-0.3 mm.?[7] Adhesion: ABS can be difficult to adhere to some print surfaces, so using a print surface like PEI can help improve adhesion. Additionally, applying a small amount of ABS slurry (ABS dissolved in acetone) to the print surface can help ABS stick better.It is important to note that these may vary depending on 3D printer and other environmental factors.
