Everything about this order was a nightmare. I bought a gas oven and was told delivery will be done latest by Wednesday. I had to make several calls and live chats because the delivery guy was not picking. Finally, after severe stress he delivered the oven at 9pm on Thursday. Which, I’ll cut him some slack and let that go. He seemed to have had a stressful day doing a lot of deliveries. Now onto the oven itself: is it a gas oven? Definitely not! The top stoves will just not work no matter how hard I try. I have to plug in electricity before the light in the oven comes on but that’s it. I have electric plugged in and gas plugged in and the only thing that’s showing is THE LIGHT IN THE OVEN. I needed this oven for an emergency order and it just turned out to be a ton of unnecessary stress. The whole thing comes with A TWO PAGE MANUAL. 2 pages where they lazily tell you the names of the knobs on the oven AND NOTHING ON HOW TO SET UP AND OPERATE YOUR OVEN. I have tried reaching the Jumia office since Friday. No agents available on live chat, no agents available at the call center. Just nothing. This is definitely the last time I place an order from Jumia. This experience has just been an absolute nightmare. Overall, absolute unprofessionalism from both the makers of the oven and the shop that is selling these. Such a waste of money this has been.
