Usage:
The bottles are not glass but are instead thick plastic. I wish that was noted in the product description when I purchased them. I see that it is now, but it was not at the time of my purchase.
--You hang each bottle by the piece of twine that is attached near the top. I have included a photo so you can see for yourself.
-- Each bottle is just over 9” in height.
-- All LED lights are white.
-- Each bottle has a cork bottle stopper.
-- The LED lights are not placed directly in the center of the solar panels so the lights are a bit crooked. Since we are talking about plastic bottles, I do not believe this is a deal-breaker, but just a bit more attention to detail would have gone further. Again, please see the included photo.
-- The On/Off switch is easy to operate as it is to the solar panel. The lights automatically turn on at dusk if the panels have received enough sun during the day and they are turned on. My bottles have remained illuminated for at least six hours each evening.
-- The solar panels are on the base of the bottles and you simply unscrew them to remove. My bottles arrived with some charge, but I fully charged the solar panels prior to the six hours of illumination mentioned above.
