Within the working temperature range, its resistance will increase rapidly with the increase of its own temperature in a very short time. The resistance value will increase greatly from more than ten to tens of ohms at room temperature, and will change from on state to resistive state. Therefore, degaussing resistance has switching characteristics. The shape of degaussing resistor is rectangular and oval, but rectangular is more common. The pins have two pins and three pins, but the two pins are common. There is a cylindrical degaussing resistor inside and a metal elastic contact on both sides. This degaussing resistor has two lead out pins. Some degaussing resistors have two cylindrical degaussing resistors inside, and this degaussing resistor has three lead out pins.Product functionDegaussing resistor is a special thermistor widely used in degaussing circuit of color TV, which has the characteristics of positive temperature coefficient.
The degaussing resistor acts as a current limiting resistor in the degaussing circuit. Generally, the resistance value of degaussing resistance is measured with a multimeter. The resistance value of two terminal degaussing resistance at room temperature is about 20 Ω (18 Ω± 20%), and the resistance value of three terminal element series arm is about 30 Ω (270 Ω± 20%). The resistance value rises to hundreds of ohms at high temperature. For color TV sets that work normally, there is a clear difference between the DC resistance measured from the power plug before startup and just after shutdown. Before startup, the resistance value is tens of ohms, which is the series value of degaussing resistance and degaussing coil (several to tens of ohms). When the machine is just shut down, the resistance value is hundreds of ohms, mainly the thermal resistance value of degaussing resistance.
