The cable offers a c Jack, plus video and stereo audio outputs. Our c adapters do NOT influence or alter the C protocol. The c signal is paed through from the c controller to the Sony video camera.
C Adapter is designed for all new Sony Camcorder that connects the 10pin Sony multi-AV remote terminal jack (A/V R) to 2.5mm traditional C jack plus video and audio outputs with RCA connectors. Sony combines audio/video output and C signal into one single 10pin multi-AV remote terminal jack (A/V R) on all new camcorders. Most of the new Sony Camcorders don't have the standard 2.5mm C jack any more. C controls becomes part of the 10pin AV jack. C is available but not directly acceible without the adapter cable. This adapter makes the connection between Sony new 10pin connector and 2.5mm C poible. No batteries, plug and play, work for all C protocol.
· All Sony camcorder with 10pin AV Jack (A/V R)
·AV Sony 10 pin "D" plug
·2.5mm Jack C Interface
· Length : about 50cm
Special Note About the c and Audio/Video Cable: This cable will NOT work with any of thevideo cameras listed below due to a change Sony made to these specific camcorders:
2011 USA Models International PAL Models HDR-CX130 HDR-CX160 HDR-XR160 HDR-CX180 HDR-CX360 HDR-CX560 HDR-CX700 DCR-SR66 DCR-SX85 DCR-SX65 DCR-SX45 HDR-PJ10 HDR-PJ30 HDR-PJ50 HDR-TD10 PAL Camcorders HDR-CX730E HDR-XR260VE HDR-PJ260VE NOTE: Sony 2013 Camcorders require a special cable from Sony. The part number is VMC-AVM1 This is needed to connect the C adapter cables to the 2013 model of Sony Camcorders listed below. HDR-CX220 HDR-CX230 HDR-CX290 HDR-CX380 HDR-CX430 HDR-PJ230 HDR-PJ380 HDR-PJ430 HDR-PJ780 HDR-PJ790Only the models listed above are affected. If your video camera is NOT listed, then it will work with no probl. This is what Sony did to these models: ONLY the 2011 video cameras listed above, so when you plug in a cable with a C connector, it disables the composite video output. You can still using the HDMI jack to get video out. You can thank Sony for this ridiculous change to the AV/R jack on only the 2011. So if you video camera is NOT listed above, you have nothing to worry about.
